1. Who we are
Proofr (“Proofr”, “we”, “us”) provides a web-based studio management platform for professional photographers, covering client galleries, photo proofing, quotations, invoicing, contracts, project planning and shoot-day tools. The service is available at proofr.space and related sub-domains. Proofr is operated by [[ FILL: legal entity name ]], registered in [[ FILL: country/state ]].

2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Proofr.
3. Subscriptions, billing and payments
Proofr is offered on free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, or per project for our pay-as-you-go option, as described on our pricing page.
Our order process and payments are conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Paddle provides customer service for billing enquiries and handles applicable taxes. By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Paddle’s buyer terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account or via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Your content
You retain all ownership of the photographs, client data and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant Proofr a limited licence to store, process and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you — for example, to render galleries to the clients you share them with. You are responsible for having the rights and consents needed to upload and share Your Content.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by uploading unlawful content, infringing others’ intellectual property, attempting to breach security, or using Proofr to send spam. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Storage and limits
Each plan includes storage and usage allowances described on the pricing page. Delivered and expired galleries may be archived in line with our lifecycle policy. We will give reasonable notice before enforcing any change that materially reduces your allowances.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Proofr available and reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, add or remove features over time. Features marked “soon” or “coming soon” are planned and not guaranteed.
8. Cancellation and termination
You may stop using Proofr and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms. On termination you may export Your Content for a reasonable period before it is deleted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proofr is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important files.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or in-app. Continued use of Proofr after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [[ FILL: governing-law jurisdiction ]], and the courts of [[ FILL: jurisdiction ]] will have jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
